In the year 2000, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair proclaimed his vision for a cafe society in Britain. Since then, the coffee-shop market in the country has not just grown, it has multiplied ten-fold. A report from Allegra in 2012 counted 15,723 coffee shops in the UK, and there has been no sign of a slow-down since then.
