In most if not all cases, an association will not share information with individual members regarding the details, costs, strategies, or prognoses of any lawsuit with which the HOA is involved. This is because such information is covered by the confidentiality rules known as attorney-client privilege, and it is the association, not the individual members, who is the client in these cases.
