Is there a risk to buying a home when you have a home to sell without including a contingency to sell in your purchase contract?

For some people who are buying and selling at the same time, the answer might surprise you. In most cases, a risk carries some type of consequences, but it’s also complicated and generally requires legal advice before acting on that type of advice.
