It might not occur to you to meet the neighbors before buying a home, but let’s consider a few reasons why that’s a good idea.

First and foremost is the fact you could be living next door to these people for a long time, and who knows if you’ll even like them? I’ve had more than one seller tell me the reason their family decided to move was because they no longer can stand the neighbors. But there are other reasons.
